01. How does the link intersect tool work?
Easy, click on the dropzone and add your CVS files that contain backlinks to your competitor. We will then read the CSV files and count how many sites link to one or more competitors. We will sort the list by number of backlinks to different competitors and present it back a new downloadable CSV file.
02. Does the link intersect tool work with any backlink list?
Yes, we have tested the link intersect tool with all known backlink sources link MOZ. ahrefs, Neil Pattel, Search Console and our own MarketingTracer baclink tool. If we do not recognize the format of a list we will still be able to extract the links by taking a best guess.
03. Why did you create this tool
Most of our clients work with different backlink lists. We noticed that we could significantly increase the quality of these lists by applying the link intersect technique. And since we like to pay if forward we placed it onle, free and for everyone to use.
04. Is my data safe? (spoiler: yes it is!)
Yes, your data is safe and does not leave your browser. The link intersect tool is written in JavaScript and is executed locally in your browser. No data is being send over the internet, not to us, not to anyone. Je invite you to check your browsers network tab to see for yourself.

Why would I need link intersect?
Google has proven again and again that backlinks are one of the most important ranking factors it uses to rank your webpage on its search engine. Backlinks are extremely important and everybody need them. There are lots of watys to build backlinks. You can create your own linkable content, reach out to people and hope they will provide you with that ever desired link. But that If we could shift the odds a little?
The first thing you need to do is identify potential linkbuilding partners. That is where the MarketingTracer link intersect tool comes to your rescue. Link intersect looks at large lists of backlinks, usually of a few competotors and merges the links into one big list. Then is sorts the links by the number of baclinks to your competitors.
This means the first links on the list are from pages that are willing to link to multiple of your competitors. Odds are pretty good they are willing to link to you as well. You can see them as potential resource pages that would be interested in linking to your content as well. You then examine these websites and do outreach in order to get the backlink.
